Hopetoun

A couple of months ago I rode for three days through the Wimmera on my Yamaha SR500. Yes, that's the same bike I bought in June after seeing it on Facebook Marketplace. It's the same hallowed bike you've seen on this blog, for I owned it in the 2000s. It's such a joy to reclaim, and ride again on, the beloved motorcycle of one's youth. I camped two nights on the shore of Lake Lascelles at Hopetoun. Here's some photos from the trip. These include crossing the Grampians, the lake campsite after dark, a ride into Wyperfeld National Park, and a stop at Lake Hindmarsh.
